Chapter 24 The Grand Canyon

Li in the ward opened his eyes, thought about what he had in his soul, smiled, first fed Odom, who had not yet woken up, then put away the four-spirit jade pendant and the wooden carved totem pole, and opened the door of the ward.

Seeing Li come out and nodding at them, Kohler and the others rushed over and surrounded Li, but they didn't dare to speak, and their eyes only knew how to stare at his mouth.

"Okay, nothing serious. You can ask the doctor to help his body recover."

"Oh, my god." Kohler covered his mouth with his hands, burst into tears, Jin hugged his sister, nodding at Lee with gratitude. Kanye smiled and hugged Lee, muttering constantly: "I knew you could, I knew..."

After thanking Li, he called the bodyguard to call the doctor. Everyone gathered in front of Odom's bed and looked at him. Suddenly, Kohler shouted: "It's moving, it's moving!"

Odom's eyelids kept shaking, as if he wanted to open his eyes, but there was some difficulty. Then he opened his mouth tremblingly and said the first sentence in the past few days: "Thank you, Master."

The doctors and nurses who flocked to the crowd instantly filled the ward. Li glanced at the big man on the bed through the gap in the crowd, and smiled and said to Dana, "Let's go, we still have something to do."

Only low bushes and cactus can grow here in the endless Gobi desert. A small lizard with a pair of big eyes crawled out of a bush. It looked up cautiously, alerting to the trail of predators.

Suddenly, a roar came from a distance, and a strong wind blew the gravel and dead grass on the ground flying everywhere. The little lizard quickly spread its four small legs and ran away. In the cracks behind it, a rattlesnake of the same color as the rock continued to lurk with helplessness.

A red and white helicopter whizzed through the sky. In the huge noise of the propeller, Dana asked Li through the headphones she wore on her head: "Why are we going to the Grand Canyon?"

"A promise." Li replied loudly, "and there are some things related to the master's sect."

Dana nodded, her eyes looked into the distance through the window. A crack gradually appeared on the horizon, as if a giant had tear the earth between the two sides like tearing bread. The crack led to the distance and there was no end at all.

The helicopter flew over the crack, and the cliffs on both sides of the crack were hundreds of meters high. Oh, it seems that the torn bread is still sandwiched. The cliffs crossed over ten meters from top to bottom and form a layer of faults with different colors from the top and bottom. Shrubs and conifers grow on the cliffs, and at the bottom of the canyon, a dim river flows by. This strange scenery is unforgettable for a lifetime.

After passing through the Grand Canyon for a few minutes, a small town appeared on the ground. There was a helipad in the southwest of the town, and their planes also landed slowly here.

Li and the others got off the plane and came to the only supermarket in the town to purchase some hiking equipment. While purchasing, he kept sighing: "Hey, I have to do it all. I forgot that people a hundred years ago had no experience of directly reaching in the air, so they actually had to walk with their feet. Oh my God, this is the most troublesome place in this job."

In his mind, the old Indian said embarrassedly: "Actually, we rode horses by then." Li said to him helplessly: "Do you think I am a horseman? I can't find a guide for safety." After purchasing essentials such as food and water, Li and Dana walked towards the rental car site.

On the way, they also saw a hotel called Hongyu. The old man sighed in Li's mind. The Indian tribe that was once powerful, only one name has been passed down.

The two of them drove their rented cars toward the south edge of the Grand Canyon. The dense coniferous forests along the way blocked their sight. Are there still a few reindeer walking on the road? This harmonious natural scene made Li's heart seem to have some insights. He just looked out the window with a satisfied smile on his lips.

After entering the gate of Grand Canyon National Park for a while, they parked their cars in a parking lot on the edge of a cliff.

Li got out of the car and carried his bags. He stood at the top of the path and looked at the magnificent view of the canyon, sighed, and said to Dana: "I should really call Hobbes. The earth escape technique is really useful."

Dana glanced at him, smiled and said nothing, and walked down a desolate path.

After walking for a long time, the two finally arrived at the bottom of the valley. Looking back, the road I had just walked seemed to be a thin line embedded on the cliff that was straight up and down.

Li took a sip of water and wiped his sweat. The temperature here was much higher than that above, and there were only a few equally yellow weeds on the dry land.

"This ghost place, no formation is needed, no one will be willing to come."

"Okay, it's important to talk nonsense when you have time. This landform has a large temperature difference between day and night, and it will be very cold at night." Dana smiled at Li's embarrassing look that he had never seen since he became an adult. This is exactly what he is.

The two continued walking, one foot deep and one foot shallow. When they went down the mountain, they were hard to see the little squirrels and rattlesnakes everywhere on the roadside. This is the forbidden zone for life.

Under the guidance of the old Indians, they came to a cliff. There was a huge rock at the top of the cliff, half exposed outside the cliff and half deep into the cliff. The bare cliff was no different from the cliff next to it, but Li looked at the cliff with relish.

"How is it? Have you seen something?" Li looked at it for a while and asked Dana.
