Chapter 299 Science(1/2)
The world is a big sea of suffering.
People are in the sea.
The body is the boat and the soul is the person in the boat.
The boat carries people and continues to the other shore.
Cultivation of the physical body is to strengthen the hull of the boat so that you can sail longer in the sea of suffering.
Cultivation of Hun'er is to make people in the boat familiar with the nature of water, so that even if the boat is submerged by water, they can still hope to swim through it.
Cultivate martial arts and become an immortal. Cultivate immortality and become a god.
Therefore, cultivation in the world of Yangshen is divided into two paths: physical body and spiritual soul.
Physical practice is specifically divided into: "martial arts students, martial disciples, warriors, martial arts masters, innate martial arts masters, great masters, martial saints, human immortals (one aperture can understand all apertures, the essence of fist intention, derived from flesh and blood, ever-changing, shattering the vacuum)"
The realms of the soul are divided into: concentration, coming out of the shell, night travel, day travel, expelling objects, manifesting, possessing, seizing the body, nine levels of thunder tribulation, and Yang Shen.
Hong Yi heard these words from Bai Ziyue a few days ago. At that time, Ziyue once said that there are three supreme scriptures in this world, namely the "past", "present" and "future" scriptures of the Great Zen Temple.
In the past, the Amitabha Sutra was the most supreme art for cultivating the soul.
The Tathagata Sutra is the highest secret method for martial arts practice.
The Future No Life Sutra, although I am not familiar with its function, is also the supreme classic.
Rumor has it that as long as you gather the three sutras of the present, the past, and the future, cultivate your body to become an immortal, and cultivate your soul to become a Yangshen deity, and then combine it with the Sutra of No Life in the Future, you can pass through the great sea of suffering in the world and reach the other side.
And one of the supreme scriptures for cultivating the soul was accidentally burned out of the secret book of Dazen Temple.
He should have been wild with surprise.
However, the sound coming from outside the door made Hong Yi suddenly feel cold all over.
Hong Xuanji, his father is back.
At this moment, Hong Yi looked at this supreme treasure book again and felt it was so hot to the touch.
"No, if Hong Xuanji finds out that I have this supreme Taoist scripture, he will never let me go, even if it wasn't because of my apprenticeship."
Treasures touch people's hearts, even his father Hong Xuanji is no exception.
"Master Yi, if you don't come out, I'm going to come in." The voice outside obviously became a bit colder.
Hong Yi quickly took a deep breath, hid the piece of scripture in his clothes, and pressed it against his flesh.
Fortunately, in the past, the Amitabha Sutra was just a piece of paper with many images and words on it. It was thin and easy to hide. It could not be seen at all when placed in the chest.
Hong Xuanji is only a martial saint, but he can't see through it, so he shouldn't be able to find it.
Afterwards, Hong Yi calmed down and walked out just when the housekeeper was about to open the door indifferently.
There is nothing superfluous to say.
Hong Yi followed the housekeeper to Hong Xuanji's study.
Zhou Yi's spiritual thoughts were hidden in the blood between Hong Yi's eyebrows at this moment.
Follow Hong Yi to meet Hong Xuanji.
Hong Xuanji is called the son of Daqian in the world of Yangshen, and his luck is also at its peak.
Therefore, you can be the protagonist of an era.
Hong Yi came to the study room.
Then he saw a tall, middle-aged man with gray hair on his temples and a purple gold crown on his head. He stood with his hands behind his back, his back to Hong Yi.
It is now the pillar of the Daqian Dynasty.
Wu Wenhou and Hong Xuanji!
Hong Xuanji turned his back to Hong Yi and said calmly: "Stand on the right side."
Hong Yi forced himself to calm down at this moment and stood on the right side.
Zhou Yi's thoughts flickered and he smiled lightly.
These little things that can be seen everywhere explain Hong Xuanji’s life philosophy.
Everything must be in compliance with the rules.
This was the Neo-Confucianism he later learned.
Hong Xuanji first won the top prize in the martial arts of the Qian Dynasty, then studied literature and was the top student in high school. Then he studied Neo-Confucianism by his predecessors, completed the Neo-Confucianism, and commented on the classics of medieval Neo-Confucianism, thus forming a set of Neo-Confucianism that belongs to him.
The word "Neo-Confucianism" (Li) refers to natural principles and rules.
Treat everything in the world as the unfolding of heavenly principles, and the development of anything has heavenly principles in it.
Its core idea is reflected in human relations.
That is to say, there is a predetermined and eternal master-slave relationship between monarch and minister, father and son, and husband and wife.
The king is the master, and the ministers are the slaves; the father is the master, and the son is the slave; the husband is the master, and the wife is the slave.
That is to say, the three principles of "the ruler is the guide for the ministers, the father is the guide for the son, and the husband is the guide for the wife".
It is believed that the superior-subordinate relationship between the three cardinal principles of "monarch and minister", "father and son" and "husband and wife" is a clear hierarchical differentiation that cannot be shaken.
The father is the guide for the son, which is the foundation.
It is believed that a son must obey his father absolutely, this is filial piety.
Even if their parents are at fault, their children should not offend them. Instead, they should help their parents hide it. This is in line with the laws of nature and humanity.
This is Neo-Confucianism, a thing that clearly distinguishes rules, status, superiority and inferiority.
Therefore, Hong Xuanji asked Hong Yi to stand on his right hand because he was his son and concubine.
In the Daqian Dynasty, the left was superior and the right was inferior.
Hong Yi stood obediently on his right hand at this moment, feeling very nervous because he had two important things hidden in his heart.
However, he still suppressed his nervousness, kept his tone calm, and said: "I don't know what father's admonishment is for asking me to come."
Hong Xuanji turned his head and said, "I heard that you wrote a poem for Prince Cheng for your sister?"
Hong Yi was startled.
He originally thought that when Hong Xuanji opened his mouth, he would ask him about his apprenticeship in Xishan, but he didn't expect that he would actually ask this.
The words he had prepared long ago were completely disrupted by this unexpected word.
For a moment, he couldn't figure out what Hong Xuanji was thinking.
It was precisely because Hong Xuanji could not see the depth of his emotions and anger, and his words that he did not know what he meant, that made Hong Yi even more nervous.
He had never thought about this question about pairs. At this moment, he could only answer according to his words.
Hong Yi lowered his head and said, "Returning to my father, Sister Xuejiao's maid came over that day..."
Before he finished speaking, Hong Xuanji's tone suddenly turned cold and he said coldly:
"A gentleman's journey should be fair and square. Why don't you use regular script instead of cursive script to express your poems?"
Only then did Hong Yi understand what Hong Xuanji meant. He was panicked for a moment and didn't know how to answer: "This is me..."
Hong Xuanji stared at him coldly, his tone even more chilling:
"It is a good thing for scholars to write poems, but you have tarnished this elegance by showing off some cursive script that is not suitable for the public hall. I have let you read books for so many years, but you have learned so many evil ways?"
As soon as these words came out, the temperature in the room dropped a bit.
Facing Hong Xuanji, who was at the peak of martial arts, his father.
At this moment, Hong Yi broke out in a cold sweat, and his calves were weak and trembling.
At this moment, he understood deeply.
How terrible it is for a powerful person to master the truth.
Hong Xuanji hasn't talked about what happened to him in Xishan yet, but just because he made a pair is not in line with the principles of justice and peace among scholars. In just a few words, he has no idea how to defend himself.
It turns out that truth can really kill people.
Hong Yi had nothing to say, so he had to lower his head, his momentum completely suppressed, and whispered: "My father taught me that I won't dare to do it anymore."
Hong Xuanji said expressionlessly: "I will talk to you about this later. I came to you for another matter."
"I heard that when you were sweeping your mother's grave, you worshiped a master in Xishan?"
Hong Yi's heart moved and he thought to himself: "Finally we have come to the topic."
He had already thought about the solution to this problem, and now he said: "I did meet a man in Xishan who wanted to accept me as his disciple, but I did not become a disciple."
It is true that he has not become a disciple yet, so he is not panicking.
Five days later will be his real apprenticeship ceremony.
"Um."
Hong Xuanji said softly, but he was not as indifferent as before. He seemed to think that Hong Yi handled it well, and the atmosphere in the room relaxed a little.
To be continued...
