109. Kanto Game 1(1/2)
At noon on the third day of training, after the ensemble ended.
"The training camp is over. If we go back today, everyone can go home directly."
"yes!"
Rin Kiyono looked around, his eyes resting on Toru Watanabe, whose eyelids kept falling.
"Tomorrow will continue to be high-intensity, so it's best to stay home and have a good rest. There are only five days left before the Kanto Competition. Don't feel like falling asleep during practice."
"yes!"
"Watanabe-san?"
"There is a reason why I have been dozing off today." Watanabe Toru raised his foot and pointed at the mosquito bag: "Yesterday, there was a mosquito that kept buzzing. I wanted to..."
Before he finished speaking, Qingye Rin had already withdrew his gaze: "Dismissed."
"..." Tetsu Watanabe had forgotten that this woman could see through lies.
"The NPC has more powerful skills than the players, so I've made a mistake." He complained in his mind, and Toru Watanabe cheered up and started to pack up the music stand and chairs.
After carrying the instruments and packing their luggage, the music department took the school bus back to Shinjuku area, ending the three-day and two-night training camp.
Toru Watanabe, who went to bed late and got up early every day and kept exercising, was fine. Just because he went to the girls' dormitory at night and crawled on the floor for a while, he felt tired when he got home.
He casually kicked off his shoes, walked into the entrance, turned on the air conditioner, and sat down on the floor, Watanabe Toru groaned with satisfaction.
The two goldfish caught during the summer festival and placed in the fish tank were already dead, with their bulging bellies facing upwards.
Watanabe Toru stared at it for a while, then slowly took out his mobile phone, took a photo, and sent it to Kujo Miki.

Five days passed quickly, and it soon came to the afternoon before the Kanto Competition.
In order to prepare for tomorrow's game, the training ended early.
Toru Watanabe returned to the rental house and received a courier from his hometown, a duck.
His father raised the ducks in the rice fields. He originally wanted to wait for him to kill them and eat them, but because of the music club, he stayed in Tokyo throughout the summer vacation.
"All the ducks that eat weeds and pests have been killed, which means the rice harvest is about to begin." Toru Watanabe said to himself, staring at the ducks tied up by the five-flowered ducks.
Suddenly he had a headache. Killing a duck from scratch is a very tedious task, including bleeding, plucking and so on.
But raising ducks or selling them is unrealistic.
After thinking about it, Toru Watanabe took out his mobile phone.
"What's going on?" Kujo Miki's voice came over.
"My hometown sent me a duck. Do you want to come to my place for dinner tonight?" If there is a guest, the host will be motivated to mess around in the kitchen.
"Duck?" Miki Kujo was stunned for a moment, "Why are you sending something like this here? Where is it not found?"
"Paddy ducks are quite rare for ordinary Tokyo residents, right? Are you coming?"
"You want me to go to your place so much?" Miki Kujo's tone was contemptuous and ambiguous.
"Hey, hey, don't get it wrong. I am purely alone and don't want to deal with ducks at all. Only if you come to eat will I have the motivation to cook."
"is that so?"
"Of course. If there are no guests, who would go to the trouble of killing a duck? I definitely don't have the dirty idea that 'if my girlfriend agrees to come to my house for dinner, that means she agrees to do that kind of thing'!"
Miki Kujo's laughter on the other side of the phone showed that she didn't believe Tetsu Watanabe's words at all.
What a headache.
If it were Rin Kiyono, he would definitely know that Toru Watanabe is a hospitable host with no dirty thoughts.
"Okay, at eight o'clock, I'll go to your place and clean up."
"Wash it clean? Mei Ji, I am really not a scumbag full of lust. I..."
"I mean duck."
"Ah? Oh."
The phone was hung up amidst Kujo Miki's laughter. It seemed that she was in a good mood. Could it be that she had recently negotiated several business deals and earned billions of dollars?
Watanabe Toru thought of the man who gave him a Lamborghini as a gift as soon as they met. The life of a rich man was unimaginable.
Since Miki Kujo agreed to come to dinner, Toru Watanabe was not going to be lazy anymore and boiled water to kill the duck.
He couldn't cook, so he was going to make duck soup for hot pot.
I asked my mother for the steps to make soup, put the duck rack in the pot to make soup, and he went out to buy other ingredients.
On the afternoon of August 24th, it was very hot outside.
The asphalt roads and rooftops of residential areas sparkled in the sun, and the few pedestrians on the street tried to walk as close to the shade as possible.
Watanabe Toru finally walked into the mall and let out a sigh of relief. His body was already sticky with sweat.
I stood at the air-conditioning outlet and blew in the air for a while, then walked around the vegetable selling area of the mall.
A plate of high-grade wagyu beef, shiitake mushrooms, scallions, chrysanthemum, baby cabbage, enoki mushrooms, chrysanthemum... There are many styles, but the quantity is small.
Thinking that Kujo Miji liked to eat salmon, Toru Watanabe put the most expensive plate of salmon in the mall into the basket.
Finally, I took a bottle of orange juice, paid the bill, and returned to the rental house sweating profusely.
In this kind of weather, one really doesn't want to cook, let alone kill a duck.
I took a shower, changed my clothes, and when I saw that the time was almost up, I started washing rice, cooking, washing vegetables and putting them on the plate.
After dark, before Kujo Miki arrived, he went to the store and bought a gas stove for camping.
The gas stove was placed on the round low table, the duck soup pot that had been cooking all afternoon was placed on top, and the round table was filled with other dishes.
I raised my phone high, took a photo from the right angle, and sent it to my mother and Kujo Miki.
Toru Watanabe turned on the TV and drank orange juice while watching NHK's documentary about the severe weather in the northernmost part of Hokkaido. After having too much money and not knowing what to do with it, he paid for it.
While waiting for Miji Kujo, the pot made a beeping sound and the aroma filled the entire rental house.
Kujo Miki arrived on time at eight o'clock.
"Finally here, I'm starving to death." Toru Watanabe opened the door.
Kujo Miki wore a simple short-sleeved dress with the hem tucked into the skirt, highlighting her graceful waist curve.
She sat down at the low table and glanced at the dishes on the table: "I haven't eaten anything since you called me. If it's not delicious and you disappoint me, I'll make you dance."
"Smell this smell." Toru Watanabe made a gesture of invitation to the hot pot.
Kujo Miki sniffed it with her small and delicate nose: "It's just so so."
"Smell carefully."
Kujo Miki sniffed it again: "I don't think the rice field duck is so special."
"It doesn't matter if it's a duck or not, it's all my love." Toru Watanabe said.
Miki Kujo glanced at Toru Watanabe and picked up the glass he had prepared for her: "Pour me a drink and put some ice cubes in it."
"Has my love not been conveyed?"
Kujo Miki knocked the base of the glass on the table to signal him to stop talking nonsense.
Watanabe Toru was also hungry, so he stopped joking and poured her a drink first, added ice cubes, and then placed the ingredients on a plate in the snow-white soup stock.
After everything was ready, the two of them started with the easy-to-cook dishes.
Watanabe Toru gave her a piece of duck meat and looked at her expectantly: "Try it."
Kujo Miki didn't eat immediately. She took off the duck skin first and put it in Watanabe Toru's bowl, and then took a bite of the duck meat.
"How is it?" Watanabe Toru asked.
"Yeah." Kujo Miki nodded calmly.
Toru Watanabe was very satisfied to receive such a review, and the whole afternoon's work felt worthwhile.
He threw the duck skin into his mouth.
Kujo Miki took a slice of cooked wagyu beef and nodded as she felt very good.
She ate some vegetables and asked Toru Watanabe to add a bowl of rice to her.
"Are you busy lately?" Toru Watanabe put the tofu filled with soup into his mouth.
"I have a few projects, but I'm not very busy, but I don't have much time."
"Then will you go to my game tomorrow?"
"The Kanto competition is boring, let's talk about the national competition."
"You are quite confident in me."
"I believe in the strength of that woman Rin Kiyono." Miki Kujo rolled her eyes at Toru Watanabe and put the ingredients on the chopsticks into her mouth, but she was burned by the potatoes.
To be continued...
