313. Karuizawa in August 8(2/2)

There is a floor-to-ceiling window in the studio, and outside the window is a beautiful natural scenery.

On this bright morning, in the sunlight passing through the floor-to-ceiling windows, the furnishings in the room reflected a thin layer of light, and it always felt like there was an old phonograph under a certain curtain.

Kujo Miki came in and helped with paints, brushes, drawing knives and other small tools.

Watanabe Tetsu takes the easel, drawing stool, drawing umbrella, brush bucket and other heavy or bulky tools.

The two of them were painting in front of the villa, facing Rin Qingye who was reading a book on the terrace.

Rin Kiyono only glanced at them at the beginning - when they were setting up the easel - and the rest of the time he treated them as if they didn't exist.

The wind at nine o'clock in Karuizawa is cool and pleasant. I sit on the painting stool and bask in the warm sunshine.

The soft sunlight passes through the gaps between the leaves and gently shines on the drawing board and Qingye Rin's arms.

No matter how earth-shaking the outside world is, with blood, passion, failure, sweat - whether it's wind music or Koshien, they remain the same as always, simple, natural and happy.

The two ladies came back with drinks.

"Miki's paintings are so good that they can be exhibited in art museums." Mrs. Kujo praised.

"That's right." Mrs. Qingye became proud for some reason, knowing that her daughter was the one on the terrace.

"Let me see Watanabe-kun's." Mrs. Kujo looked over and laughed.

"Watanabe-kun." It could be heard that she was trying to control her breathing, "Have you let Xiao Lin see your painting?"

"I'm an abstract artist, and I don't care about appearance." Toru Watanabe rinsed his brushes in the brush bucket, as if adding seasoning to a barbecue.

"What do you value about Miki's inner qualities?" Mrs. Kujo asked again.

"The only exception is Miki. I like her beauty." Toru Watanabe tapped the brush on the brush bucket, as if draining a mop.

"You make sense no matter what." Miki Kujo completed the final steps of the painting.

She stood up and stretched her lithe limbs that had been sitting for so long.

Watanabe Toru picked up the pen and wrote in the lower right corner of her drawing:

"Toru Watanabe was painting in Karuizawa. The cicadas kept making noises, and it was suspected that there was a forest fire."

After looking at it with satisfaction, he turned to the two ladies and Miki Kujo: "How is it?"

Without waiting for the three of them to express their expressions, he said as if remembering: "By the way, there's still this place."

He also wrote in the lower right corner of the "abstract" painting:

"Kujo Mihime was painted in Karuizawa when my husband was seventeen and I was sixteen. The wind was gentle and the sun was warm, and the cicadas were chirping crisply."

"Satisfied." Tetsu Watanabe said happily.

"So you are like this." Kujo Miki nodded.

"Smart person?" Toru Watanabe asked.

"Those who practice fraud," Miki Kujo said.

"A vain person," Mrs. Kujo added.

Watanabe Toru looked at Mrs. Kiyono, waiting for her comment.

Mrs. Qingye was stunned for a moment, put her finger on her chin, and muttered: "People who like to be scolded?"

"...Please respect the facts and stop talking nonsense."

Watanabe Toru admired "his paintings" and couldn't help but nod and said:

"I am the only person in the world who can draw Seino Rin's superior, fresh and natural temperament."

"There are many art museums in Karuizawa. I will take you to see them tomorrow. Don't embarrass the Kujo family." Mrs. Kujo took his right hand and stuffed the wine into his hand.

"It'll be fine in the afternoon," Toru Watanabe said.

"I'll take you riding in the afternoon." Mrs. Qingye also gave him the wine in her hand.

"Isn't this wine?" Toru Watanabe looked at the wine on his left hand that Mrs. Kiyono had given him.

"Brandy," Mrs. Qingye said in a pleasant and relaxed tone, "Cavados apple brandy. This wine tastes pretty good and is suitable for women to drink."

After lunch and a short lunch break, the five of them went to the racecourse, which is not far from the golf course.

At ten o'clock in the afternoon, many wealthy people were riding horses and walking.

Before we arrived at the racecourse, we saw someone riding a horse through the forest on the road.

"Can I ride outside?" Toru Watanabe asked curiously.

"Of course." Mrs. Kiyono said, "In the past, horses were the means of transportation for nobles and wealthy people in Karuizawa."

"That's it." Watanabe Toru became a little interested.

After arriving in Karuizawa, he knew that he wanted to ride a horse, and he learned some knowledge about horse riding.

There is a specialized equestrian discipline, which involves riding in a field to practice the tacit understanding between people and horses, and to demonstrate various skills, such as barrel racing, etc.

There is also wild riding, where the horses gallop.

Riding a horse galloping in the prairie does not necessarily require high skills. It is enough to temporarily sign up for a prairie riding class.

Toru Watanabe was not interested in participating in equestrian competitions, so he was not very interested in coming to the racecourse at first and only regarded it as a way to enrich his knowledge.

Now that I know I can ride outside, my mood is finally a little higher.

When you arrive at the racecourse, you change into your uniform, put on your riding boots, put on your helmet, and grab your riding whip.

The four of them are handsome and aristocratic, and Toru Watanabe, who looks very handsome and equally aristocratic, complements him in everything.

The four of them stared at him for several times, and Toru Watanabe also looked at them, showing mutual admiration.

"Watanabe-kun," Mrs. Kiyono said, "this is the horse I prepared for you on your birthday. It was specially transported from Tokyo."

Watanabe Toru looked at the white horse in front of him.

The shiny horsehide is like silk, and ripples like water as the horse moves.

It is as tall as an adult from hoof to back, and the person holding it is just up to the horse's back.

This horse was surrounded by a group of people and looked very uneasy. Occasionally it raised its front hooves, which could have stepped on people's heavenly caps, which made people tremble with fear.

When people see it, they will almost immediately think of the word "big horse".

"It has the bloodline of Sharma horse and Akhal Tekin horse." Mrs. Qingye introduced.

Sharma horses are famous for their height, strength and endurance, and can pull up to 5 tons of weight.

The so-called Ahal Te Golden Horse has slender limbs, thin skin, light steps, great strength, fast speed, and strong endurance - with so many advantages, it is naturally a sweaty horse.

"The horse has been trained by circling and other methods, but no one has ever ridden it, so it still retains its wild nature. Please be careful, young master," said the staff member who led the horse.

"Can you conquer your own horse, Watanabe-kun?" Mrs. Kujo said with a smile.

"Be careful." Qingye Rin frowned nicely, "Don't be killed by such a tall horse."

"The way you care about people is so special." As he said that, Toru Watanabe walked towards the horse.

As he approached, the horse became more and more restless and kept turning its head. The staff had to work very hard to hold the reins.

When Toru Watanabe came closer and tried to take the reins from the staff, the horse suddenly raised its front hooves.

At that height, the hooves really stepped on the adult's Tianling Cap.

"Be careful!" Miki Kujo knew what Toru Watanabe was capable of, but she still couldn't help but speak.

"It scared me to death." Toru Watanabe said with a smile.

The more he looked at the horse, the more handsome he felt.

He was not interested in sports cars and only liked bumper cars, but suddenly he became interested in horses.

"Watanabe-kun, let me find you a well-tamed horse first, learn how to ride a horse first, and then deal with this horse." Mrs. Kiyono suggested.

"No need." Toru Watanabe refused.

He wanted to touch the horse's neck, but the horse suddenly raised its front hoof again.

Watanabe Toru simply stretched out his hand and caught it.

"It's awesome, it's quite heavy." He said, carefully letting go, as if he was worried about damaging the horse.

The staff spoke loudly, pointed at the horse, pointed at Toru Watanabe, then looked at the ladies, and finally became speechless.

900 kilograms, although I only lifted my front hooves, but...

Forget it, it’s better not to know too much about the world of rich people.

Mrs. Kujo hugged her daughter's waist: "Miki, are you okay?"

Miki Kujo pushed her hand away in disgust and said to Toru Watanabe: "Clean it up quickly if you can."

"No problem." Toru Watanabe said.

"Baby, be obedient. (Command)"
