5. Mysterious girls and societies(1/2)

"Didi-di-di! Di-di-di!"

Watanabe Toru reached out from the quilt, turned off the noisy alarm clock, and lay on the quilt for another ten seconds before sitting up from the bed.

The time is 7:15 on Thursday morning.

I brushed my teeth with half-closed eyes, washed my face, put on a white shirt, trousers, and a tie in front of the mirror. I put on a suit I was not used to wearing yet and left the front open, which makes me look more handsome.

In fact, I am tired of buttoning up my clothes every day, and I feel constrained and not free.

Toru Watanabe began to miss his hometown where the bus ran every two hours - the school uniform only required a shirt and a tie, which could be used as a rope.

Putting on his schoolbag and carrying the garbage, Watanabe Toru walked out the door.

If he remembered correctly, his tie should be tied to the old well in the backyard. It suddenly occurred to him when he was throwing the garbage into the trash can.

When he first woke up, Toru Watanabe's thoughts couldn't be concentrated and he thought about random things. Sometimes he could even think of experiences he thought he had forgotten a long time ago.

"Ah~~~"

While yawning, I swiped my card to enter the station and took the 7:30 tram.

After getting off the bus at Yotsuya Station, Toru Watanabe walked up a long uphill road to Kamikawa High School.

Although Tokyo is located at the southern end of the Kanto Plain and adjacent to Tokyo Bay, there are many uphill and downhill slopes.

His thoughts like vines and weeds began to wander again. He thought of the beautiful girl Qingye Rin from the Human Observation Department. Her breasts were almost the same as hers. She said she had them, and she didn't seem to have them...

Watanabe Toru shook his head, interrupting his train of thought about where he was going.

When I walked to the school gate, I saw a group of guys in sportswear, neatly arranged, with shaved heads, shouting slogans, and running around the school.

The last person in the team, who winked at Toru Watanabe, was Osamu Kunii.

"Kamikawa——"

"come on!"

"Kamikawa——"

"come on!"

Watanabe Toru stood there and paid solemn attention to the passionate and inspiring high school life.

"Good morning, Watanabe-san!"

"Good morning."

On the way into the teaching building from the school gate, girls from his class wearing bow ties and pleated skirts would greet him from time to time.

After all, she is third in grade and has outstanding looks. If her family hadn't been poor, she would have received twice as many love letters every week.

Toru Watanabe threw his indoor shoes on the floor, put his feet in them, and put the pink letter of unknown origin in the cabinet into his school bag.

He had no trouble with love letters, but suddenly he had a new feeling: just be a scumbag, and if you agree to a few girls, you can always get a lot of points by agreeing to the conditions.

When he arrived at the classroom, it was still early before the 8:30 class time. Watanabe Toru was immersed in writing the unfinished submission from yesterday.

"It's so early today!" Saito Keisuke, who arrived late, said hello and walked in.

Seeing him writing something, he asked: "Are you not done with your homework? Do you want to borrow my copy for a copy?"

"No, it's a submission to the literary society."

"You are actually interested in this kind of thing? Let me guess." Keisuke Saito put his schoolbag on his seat and sat on the chair of a classmate who had not yet arrived in front of Toru Watanabe's desk. "The submission was accepted.

Is there a cash reward later?”

"It's not such a good thing, and compared to making money by writing manuscripts, it's faster to work part-time."

"So...you have joined the Literature and Art Department? Submission is the entrance examination for the Literature and Art Department!"

"It's not a writers organization somewhere."

"Why?" Saito Keisuke patted his head, suddenly made a flash of inspiration, and said with great certainty: "I was asked by Mr. Koizumi!"

"Does this matter belong to her?"

Saito Keisuke gave up: "Why is that? Is your head broken?"

"That's right." Toru Watanabe crossed out the wrong words with his pen, "It's just someone else."

"Has this guy Xiu finally reached this point?"

Saito Keisuke picked up Toru Watanabe's eraser, took off the packaging shell, revealing the pure white rubber, and placed it upright on the table of Osamu Kunii on the right.

Watanabe Toru looked up at his rubber, which was like a white bouquet: "Saito, you're not far away either."

"Liar?"

"I, Watanabe, never lie."

After the joke was over, Toru Watanabe told the story of joining the Human Observation Club and being asked to submit articles to the literary club.

"Kyono Rin?!"

Saito Keisuke's voice was so loud that Watanabe Toru subconsciously asked: "Do you know him?"

"One-sided acquaintance. By the way, is there anyone in Kamikawa High School who doesn't know her?"

"I am the one in front of you."

"Watanabe, you..." Saito Keisuke hesitated.

Watanabe Toru didn't know what he meant. Was he implying that he was not a human being?

No matter what, he was more concerned about how to end the last sentence of his submission than these.

Saito Keisuke took the eraser back, threw it in his hand, and said:

"The flower of the high mountain refers to Rin Kiyono herself. Although we don't have a school beauty in Kamikawa, when it comes to who is the most beautiful, it is this eldest lady."

"It's so awesome, why haven't you and Kunii mentioned it before?"

"Who dares to talk about her in school? And it's useless to talk about her. That kind of person is too far away from us." Saito Keisuke showed a regretful and low smile.

As long as they leave kindergarten, human beings will more or less consciously divide themselves into classes: the poor will feel inferior when facing the rich, the ugly ones will not dare to pursue the good-looking ones, etc.

Saito Keisuke's depressed mood only lasted for a moment, and he quickly recovered: "How dare you approach her without crossing the border?!"

"I just wanted to leave early."

"Stop pretending, tell me secretly, have you fallen in love with her at first sight? Although I think it's impossible, I will still cheer for you silently in my heart!"

"Whatever you want."

"Then let me tell you about her information!" Keisuke Saito lowered his voice, "Her family..."

Watanabe Toru looked at the blue sky outside the window, and the tip of his pen touched the paper.

"ah."

Saito Keisuke stopped talking: "What's wrong?"

"I thought of it."

"What?"

Toru Watanabe added a high-spirited haiku to the end of what we can call an article:

"The grass in my garden has sprouted again, and the infinite heaven and earth will soon be green."

After the morning class, Toru Watanabe went to the literary club after dinner, preparing to hand in the first draft directly.

There isn't much space left for people to move around in the Literature and Art Department, but what takes up the rest of the space are bookshelves and display windows, on which various books and certificates are displayed in categories.

Unlike the Human Observation Department, where all the items are irrelevant, it can even be said to be garbage.

Watanabe Toru looked at himself reflected in the window. It seemed that the art department paid great attention to cleaning - at least the glass was wiped clean.

"Please tell me your name, class, and type of work."

"I joined in the name of a club, my name is Watanabe Tetsu, and the type of work..." Watanabe Tetsu recalled where the article he saw in the library was published in the journal: "Prose."

"Okay, please give me the manuscript and what is the name of the club?"

"Human Observation Department." Toru Watanabe handed over the manuscript.

"Human Observation Department?" The member of the literary club in charge of registration subconsciously repeated this sentence and looked at Toru Watanabe with an unkind look.

"Sure enough, he has the same virtue as that man!"

"Forget about that person, this guy actually dared to send the manuscript over directly!"

"The school allows such a club to exist. Is it fair?"

The loud "whispering" behind him made Toru Watanabe a little concerned.

What's wrong with the Human Observation Department? Didn't the literary club itself post the invitation notice to submit the article? Or did Rin Kiyono rely on his privileges to establish the club, which made these "literary readers" of the literary club look down upon it?

If it's the last reason, he stands with the "people" for the time being.

"Name?" The person in charge of registration glared at him fiercely.

"Didn't I say so, Toru Watanabe."
