96. A night full of mistakes(1/3)

Beck Coffee Shop is probably the closest coffee shop to Yotsuya Station, except for the coffee shop directly connected to Yotsuya Station.

You can often see students from nearby Sophia University coming here to study or date on weekends.

Popular songs are played in the store, and the decoration is in a youthful style. The business philosophy is completely opposite to the Ochanomizu store that Toru Watanabe went to last time.

After ordering an iced latte on the first floor, Toru Watanabe went up to the second floor to find a seat.

The counter seats by the window on the second floor offer a very good view. For example, the colorful high-rise buildings in Shinjuku district in the distance are very nice right now.

Therefore, Toru Watanabe felt less resentful about being forced to come to meet him.

While drinking coffee, I passed the time by flipping through the remaining pages of "Don Quixote."

He was not interested in Don Quixote's Dream of Chivalry, and the reason he kept reading was purely so that he would not be bored while learning Spanish.

As for whether he could enrich his own cultural heritage, he did not deliberately pursue it.

After reading the previous pages again to make sure that the unfamiliar vocabulary had been memorized, Hanada Asahi, who was carrying a schoolbag and carrying a coffee, walked up to the second floor.

"Sorry, I'm late." Hanada Asako also sat down at the counter seat by the window.

"It's okay, it's night anyway." Toru Watanabe watched her put her schoolbag at her feet, hummed and picked up a spoon to stir the fresh cream on the coffee, looking very much looking forward to the taste of the coffee.

"Why do you say that?" Asako Hanada looked at Toru Watanabe in confusion.

"During the day, if I were sitting here alone, I would be chatted up to the point where I would want to go home directly."

Hanada Asako smiled cutely: "Watanabe-san really loves to joke."

"No, I didn't...forget it, just think of it as a joke. So, what's the point of calling me out?"

"Hmm~"

Hanada Asako, who had agreed in this way, put down the spoon, held up the coffee with her little hands as if to keep it warm, took a small sip, and sighed, "It tastes really good."

"..." Toru Watanabe.

"Huh?" Hanada Chaozi tilted his head, looking at Toru Watanabe who was staring at her in confusion, and then suddenly realized.

She said: "I ordered the Italian fancy mocha coffee, which is a mixture of 1/3 Italian espresso and 2/3 hot milk, and also added chocolate. Because I don't like dark chocolate very much, I added milk.

skillful......"

"Italy and chocolate are both good." Watanabe Toru sighed helplessly, "I want to know, senior, why did you invite me here?"

"Ah, I'm sorry, that's what Watanabe-san was talking about."

Otherwise, which one can I say?

"Although I am a member of the Human Observation Department, so far, our agency has not had a project to investigate what kind of coffee young human women like to drink."

"I understand." Asako Hanada put down her coffee, grabbed the hem of her skirt at her knees with both hands, and stared down at some Italian coffee.

Watanabe Toru stirred the ice cubes in his coffee cup and waited quietly for her to collect her thoughts.

"Actually," Asako Hanada mustered up her courage, "I hate Watanabe-san very much."

"...Ah, I understand, what next?"

"I'm sorry, please wait a moment." Hanada Chaozi took a sip of coffee, and his nervousness was significantly relieved.

She continued: "Watanabe-san, what do you think love is?"

"ha?"

"Please answer me!" Asako Hanada grabbed the hem of her skirt with all her strength, and stared at Toru Watanabe without blinking with her black grape-like eyes.

"Don't be so loud, don't get excited!"

"Please answer me!"

"I will answer you. But when I am suddenly asked this kind of question, I need time to think about it."

"Then please think about it carefully, Watanabe-san."

Watanabe Toru took a sip of latte and pretended to think.

How is it possible to suddenly come up with an answer to such a question?

Besides, rather than what love is, he wants to know what Hanada Asako wants to do.

"Have you thought of it, Watanabe-san?" Asako Hanada was like a tutor chasing after a student to ask questions.

"It's like coffee." Toru Watanabe said casually.

"coffee?"

"Hmm." Watanabe Toru held the coffee cup up and looked at the 'Beck' store name logo on it. "There is a song lyric that says: 'The taste of love is like this cup of bitter coffee. Although you can add some sugar, it still tastes like it.'

People's hearts are haggard.'"

"Is there a song like this?"

"It's a Chinese song."

There is a song, but the original words are: The taste of longing is like this cup of bitter coffee.

"So Watanabe-san believes that even if love has sweet moments, it is still bitter in nature."

"So that's it? Then let's do it." Toru Watanabe felt that this explanation made sense unexpectedly.

Could it be that by reading too many books like "How to Please a Rich Woman", he has become an expert who can host late-night love broadcasts?

"But," Hanada Asako said angrily, "even if love is bitter, the passion will fade. You can't stay in love forever, and you can't do anything to regret the other person!"

It was close to twelve o'clock, and there were four customers in the store, all looking here.

Watanabe Toru pressed his hands together: "Calm down, senior, did your boyfriend cheat on you?"

"It's Watanabe-san! You did something sorry for Kujo-san!"

"......No."

"You have."

"No."

"You have it!" Hanada Asako shouted angrily like a primary school student who was wronged by an adult.

"Don't think that just because you are a senior, you can talk nonsense. I am an honest countryman and I hate people who talk nonsense the most!"

"Why do you send Qingye-san home every night?"

"She is in poor health, and I'm worried that it's not safe for her to walk alone at night." After explaining, Toru Watanabe said in a lecturing tone: "Senior Asako Hanada, you always suspect others of being unfaithful to relationships because you are suspicious yourself.

Too heavy, looking at people through colored glasses. Although I don’t know much about relationships, I also know that the most important thing between both parties is trust.”

"What about you and Tomorrow-senpai?"

"She came here on her own today, and it was just for games." Toru Watanabe pretended to be impatient, but in reality he picked up the coffee with a guilty conscience, ready to drink it in one go and leave.

"Why did she take off her clothes to you that day in the activity classroom of the Human Observation Department?"

"...I don't know what you are talking about." Toru Watanabe put down his coffee cup, picked up his school bag and stood up, "I have to catch the last train, so I have to leave first."

Hanada Asako grabbed Watanabe Toru's arm and almost pulled him down.

"I took pictures of them all!"

Watanabe Toru turned around. Although the picture of the mobile phone with the double bass hanging hammer was blurry, he could still easily identify Asuka Mai who was taking off her clothes.

The face of the person opposite Mai Asahi cannot be seen, but people who are familiar with her will know who it is as soon as they look at the figure.

What's more, the location is obviously the mobile classroom of the Human Observation Department.

'Damn it, I was worried that the person opposite would see me!' Toru Watanabe regretted it.

But if regret is useful, there will be no regrets in the world. At this point, the only thing left to do is to find a way to remedy it.

Watanabe Toru straightened the shirt that had been pulled off and sat down again.

"Hanada-senpai, what are you going to do?"

Hanada Asako took a deep breath: "If you don't correct yourself, Watanabe-san, I will tell Kujo-san about this."

"Wait a minute, I'll die if I do this!" Toru Watanabe was startled.

"Then correct it!"

"It's not that simple." Toru Watanabe deliberately smiled bitterly, suddenly realizing that this was a good opportunity to get rid of Asuka Mai.

Although I feel a little bit reluctant to let go, if I want to do a great career - in fact, in order to survive, having such bad deeds as "cheating" is not acceptable.

It must be unbreakable and not give any chance to the opponent.

"What's the problem?" Hanada Asako asked.

"Senior, please don't worry." Toru Watanabe reassured, "I can understand that you must be loyal to love, and I also agree with this view."

"Then why is Watanabe-san doing something that is sorry for Kujo-san?"

"This matter," Toru Watanabe hesitated for two seconds, "it was actually Senior Tomorrow who took the initiative."

"Mai-senpai?!"
