Chapter 273: Play a Game (Add 4,700 words)(2/2)

The oval corridor space contains 1 rehearsal hall, 3 rehearsal halls, 3 large music classrooms, 4 dressing rooms, more than 30 small piano rooms and warehouses for large musical instruments or consumables.

The end of the other side is connected to the cast and crew preparation area behind the concert hall, and the "Under Construction" sign is still hanging.

The faint sound of music passed through the almost closed door of the rehearsal hall and was captured by Fan Ning's keen sense. It was the orchestra part of the slow movement of Beethoven's "Violin Concerto in D major" that Kaplan was polishing.

Fan Ning went straight through here, but did not enter.

He came to the door of another music classroom, stretched out his hand and pushed it open gently.

Soft light shines on every wooden surface. There is a podium, black and white, conductor's podium and baby grand piano. There are mahogany tables and chairs arranged neatly horizontally and vertically, and there are more than 50 men and women sitting in restrained positions.

They are mainly teenagers and girls who have passed the stage of voice change. These children from farmers or labor families have unclear emotions on their faces, but their clothes are brand new or have been washed white. Fan Ning even sensed that many girls were painted with paint.

Cheap face creams and the like, I can see that I want to look as clean and decent as possible after I go out today.

At this moment, they stood up one after another, looking at themselves with uneasy and expectant eyes.

"Professor Fan Ning." The boy in front of the podium and the girl sitting in front of the piano also stood up.

"Classmate Clark, classmate Elizabeth, good afternoon."

These two are student conductors and piano accompanists (artistic directors) of the St. Lenia Collegiate Choir.

Due to their management affiliation with the symphony orchestra, they had some interactions with Fan Ning on weekdays. They were recruited by Fan Ning to train teachers in the name of part-time students at the music school.

With Fan Ning's memory of early exposure, the whole classroom is full of familiar faces that can recognize people's names.

At present, most of the recruitment tasks for the members of the affiliated choir have been completed, so today has been set as the reporting time, but the affiliated youth symphony orchestra. Because it involves instrumental music, the progress is much slower than Fan Ning expected. The current 80 people are planned.

Kankan has recruited 25 people, and he still needs to think of something later.

When they met for the first time, everyone was looking at the music director, waiting for his instructions.

What would he say?

Who knew that Fan Ning’s first sentence was not a meeting speech;

Not to declare discipline;

It is not about asking about the progress of their placement work, or directly arranging teaching tasks.

He motioned to Elizabeth, a girl in a green dress sitting in front of the piano, to close the piano cover first.

Then he put his hands on the podium and looked around everyone with a smile.

"Boys and girls, let's play a fun game first."

"game?"

"Fun game?"

The boys and girls in the audience looked at each other, and some of them were already taking steps to move out of their seats.

"There is no need to step out or stand, you can just sit down."

Everyone sat down quickly, while Clark and Elizabeth, two outstanding students from the Conservatory of Music, looked at Fan Ning curiously.

"Come, you learn to sing like me." Fan Ning waved to the people sitting in the three rows of seats on the left.

A temporary test? They suddenly became nervous.

"Do." Fanning sang a short alto note that everyone could reach.

Everyone was a little confused by such a simple "test", but they still spoke up.

"do."

"No, you prolong it as much as possible, using the voice that you think is the most lyrical and beautiful."

“do——————”

"Very good." Fan Ning clapped his hands, "Come again."

“do——————”

"Can you remember this pitch? It will take a while." Fan Ning asked.

The boys and girls on the left nodded their heads like garlic.

"Here, it's your turn." Fan Ning waved to the people in the three rows of seats in the middle again, "Learn to sing like me, mi."

"mi——————" They quickly imitated what they had done before.

"Great, finally it's you." Fan Ning pointed to the area on the right, "sol."

"sol——————" is another satisfying imitation.

"Okay!" Fan Ning clapped his hands three times in a row, "Boys and girls, remember your respective pitches, sing it several times in your mind, I'll give you 10 seconds."

"When I count to zero, please sing loudly again, remember not to be affected by interference from other areas. Ten, nine, eight..."

The classroom was temporarily quiet. Everyone held their breath nervously and seriously, and moved their lips slightly.

"Three!" "Two!" "One!" The ready shot in Fan Ning's hand fell, "Zero!"

“do/mi/sol——————”

The bright and warm C major chord was slowly sung by young girls.

The sound is ethereal and clear.

It's like a beam of pure light piercing the barrier and descending into the world.

Such a sound.
