Chapter 7 The Adventure of Two Children in the Middle of the Night
Pei Shuo contracted all the noodles and white-boiled bamboo shoots made by A Yao, and there was not even a mouthful of soup left in the pot.
"I made it okay?" A Yao saw that his bowl was empty, and there was nothing else except the smell of oil and sesame oil. She asked proudly. Although she was not a chef, she saw someone eating all the noodles she cooked, and it felt very good to be recognized.
"Unless." Pei Shuo spit out two words.
A Yao was so angry that she stamped her feet: "Hey, I cooked it badly, why do you still eat it? It's still clean!"
"The Master taught that 'Every grain is hard,' you can't waste food, and I'm hungry, so I can only give in." Pei Shuo was not too slow.
"You! I..." A Yao was so angry that she spread her hands and asked Pei Shuo for money: "Give me back my bamboo shoots, I will sell them tomorrow. If you eat a basket of bamboo shoots, I don't want to spend more than 5 cents."
Pei Shuo looked at her, reached out to take out her sleeves, his face strange. A Yao looked at her for a while, squinted her eyes, and asked tentatively: "Do you have no money?"
“I never bring money.”
A Yao turned around and walked out of the kitchen. In order to cook noodles for Pei Shuo, she had been delaying for a long time. She had not washed the mountains of dishes and chopsticks. She secretly despised herself as she walked: "You are confused by the handsome man, and you can do business that is at a loss!"
"Thank you." A faint voice drifted into A Yao's ears with the wind. She turned around and the boy twitched his lips. He lowered his head, his eyes and lashes were long and thick. "Although it was hard to eat, it was just like my mother made..."
She almost slipped under her feet, and was she thinking about her mother?
Since she cooked a bowl of noodles for Pei Shuo, she would see Pei Shuo appear in the kitchen on time after lunch, chatting with her to fight crickets or let her cook noodles. When she saw Pei Shuo, she would remember that her baskets of bamboo shoots fell into Pei Shuo's stomach in vain. What's even more annoying is that she thought it was unpalatable to what she cooked!
"Pei Tanyue turned out to be here. Your servant has been looking for you for a long time. Please ask Tanyue to go back early." Wu Nian came to find A Yao, not ignoring the boy beside her. Seeing the boy's appearance clearly, she suddenly realized and put her hands together.
"Yeah." Pei Shuo responded and knew it. He stood there without moving, and his eyes turned to A Yao: "Your work is done, take me to play. It's so boring here."
A Yao looked at Wunian awkwardly, and Wunian ignored Pei Shuo's attitude of ignoring her, so she brought the words to her completion of the task.
"I'll talk to Sister Wunian first." A Yao explained to Pei Shuo first, turned around and curiously, and smiled: "Sister Wunian, I'll feel different when I haven't seen you for a few days. If you weren't like this, I would almost not recognize you."
It is no wonder that A Yao had this feeling. When Wunian led her into Qingning Temple, her skin was as white jade as mutton fat, red lips and teeth, and she had a good skin, green and cheerful.
In less than ten days, Wuming changed greatly. It was like a green fruit that finally ripened with a sweet smell, and the whole person became dignified and steady. Well... it was a bit like a walking white lotus, with a hazy aura.
A Yao's favoritism for Wunian did not change as a result.
In order to allow her to stay, Wu Nian ran around in many ways. The adopted people did not agree to A Yao stay here. She asked for the presiding and explained the reason, so that A Yao could settle in Qingning Temple, but this person was offended.
No matter how much she said it, no, no, if Fang Yuan hadn't spoken quickly for a while, she might never have known it.
"You don't have to care about a beautiful and dry bone; I was baptized by the Buddha and cleansed the dirt of my body and mind. Therefore, my mood is different, so you feel that I am completely different."
She seemed to see the hazy white light shining on Wunian's body, but why did she look so weird?
In just a few days, the young nun evolved into a Virgin Mary?
"I disturb Master Tai Qing Jing, I wish Master Tai to become a Buddha as soon as possible." Pei Shuo interrupted and pulled A Yao away.
Leaving Wunian's sight, A Yao tried hard to spread Pei Shuo's hand and shook it away, "Let go, it hurts so much!"
Pei Shuo grabbed her wrist tightly and left a circle of red fingerprints.
Feeling that the bones were strangled out, A Yao rubbed her hands, and it was still hurting, "I have a grudge against you! Why did you interrupt my conversation with Wunian?"
"So thin..." Pei Shuo recalled the feeling of his fingertips, thinking, "If you don't want to continue talking to her, then don't be perfunctory to others. I don't want you to talk to her, you can only play with me in the future."
A Yao frowned. For several days, she forgot that Pei Shuo was the son of the rich family. People like him wanted something at their fingertips. She didn't want to answer such domineering terms and remained silent.
Without A Yao's response, Pei Shuo was dissatisfied and said it again, forcing her to give the answer.
"What are you asking for me? It seems to be very anxious." A Yao opened the topic.
Speaking of this, Pei Shuo was obviously extremely interested and said more than usual: "I found an interesting thing. Someone secretly left Qingning Temple at night, including you, Sister Wunian. What do you think they wanted to do when they went out in the middle of the night?"
midnight?
"You're a little gossip..."
"It was their movement that woke me up and I accidentally discovered it. But when I saw you and that nun so close, they might be taken into the pit by them, I would like to remind you. Humph, I don't know the good people's hearts." Pei Shuo retorted, "At night, I'll follow them what kind of gods and ghosts are doing. Are you going?"
A Yao refused, Pei Shuo's face turned gloomy on the spot, and he left with a swagger.
In the middle of the night, A Yao and Pei Shuo hid in the rockery, and looked at the big nun carrying lanterns, leading several little nuns through the back door, and deep into the darkness along the stone path.
What she didn't want to come was that Pei Shuo had no gentlemanly style. He came to her room in the dark and planned to tie her to the pirate ship. She was smart, smart and brave, but her martial arts were not worth much. Pei Shuo took the blade with his bare hands and was crushed, so she had no choice but to tie her to the pirate ship.
In the crowd, she easily discovered her acquaintance - Wunian.
Wu Nian's calmness on her face and the solemn and excited as pilgrimage were surrounded by people, which made her very confused. In the middle of the night... Uh, pilgrimage?
"What are they going to do?" A Yao asked in Pei Shuo's ear in a low voice.
"So I'll call you up to have a look." Pei Shuo and A Yao bit their ears.
Haha, who was in the middle of the night and wanted to knock it out and take it away after a disagreement. She didn't want this kind of call at all.
The candlelight disappeared into the deep forest, Pei Shuo gestured to A Yao, and the two children also sneaked out of Qingning Temple at night and followed the path they walked.
The bamboo forest is deep, and the dusk is most likely to make people think about it. However, A Yao has experienced escape in the middle of the night and has also been sleeping in the mountains and forests. She has adapted well. What surprised her was that Pei Shuo didn't even feel afraid. This 10-year-old boy is brave enough.
The two children held hands and walked steadily on the stone steps under their feet. They all had a premonition that they would find the answer if they walked along this path.
Soon, I saw the lantern at the front again.
The red lantern reflected the face of the leader of the lantern, and looked gloomy. She did not walk forward any further. Pei Shuo pulled A Yao to hide.
On the edge of the bamboo.
The quiet bamboo forest clearly heard the sound of the knocking door. When the back door opened, the voice of a monk and a nun came. The big nun and the little nuns carrying lanterns all entered the temple and closed the door again.
This time, A Yao grabbed Pei Shuo's sleeve and trembled and advised: "No, I can't follow..."
