Chapter 686 Demonic Infection

I have never seen the blue meteor outside before, so I said, "Let's go and take a look."

As soon as one fell nearby, Lao Mo and I rushed over and saw an apple-sized stone lying quietly in the smoke pit. I reached out to grab it, but Lao Mo stopped me, "Be careful, it's weird."

"I felt that there was a demonic energy in the stone that was more than ten times richer than the outside world. If you got it right, you might be affected by the demonic energy."

I nodded, and the grass and trees around me were clamoring. More than a dozen monsters were coming to snatch the stone. There was a strong demonic energy in it. Whoever got it would be stronger. But just a dozen was not enough. I took out a box from the Netherworld Ring, carried the stone into the box, and then took back the Netherworld Ring.

The rain in the sky was still falling, and the ground became wet. Suddenly, a hand stretched out from below, grabbed my legs, pulled me into a narrow mud pit, and the mud and water irrigated inside. Even if I was not killed by the monster, I would be drowned by the mud and water.

"I'm careless."

A pair of hands grabbed my shoulders and threw me into the air. I released the fire wings and looked down. There was a monster in the pit in the pit, and he was fucking me again. A yellow spring dark fire broke into the cave, and only screams were heard. Soon a smell of burnt things drifted out, accompanied by a stream of black smoke.

The remaining monsters only dared to look at each other, and did not dare to force themselves. Besides, the aura of the stone was already covered by us. When we returned to the tree hole, the group of monsters outside dispersed.

I was worried that the stone would infect other things in the Netherworld Ring, so I quickly took it out. Sure enough, the box was already filled with demonic energy. People would feel disgusted with things like demonic energy, and would have uncomfortable reactions on their bodies, which was similar to the feeling that a person was allergic to pollen.

"This is just a small piece. If it is a little bigger, those monsters will not be able to steal the head."

I asked, "Did you see something?"

Lao Mo shook his head, "It seems that he is born with a strong demonic aura, and I don't know why."

I said, "The rain outside has stopped."

It did stop, but white mist floated again, white and vast, with a visibility of at most ten meters.

I thought it would be easier to walk after the rain stopped, but I didn't expect that there would be heavy fog again. It seemed that the demon Wuze sincerely didn't want us to find the token. Suddenly, I heard footsteps and gradually approached. It should be that a monster came here. We found a place to hide, but we forgot to collect the stone.

There was a heavy sound of footsteps, and a strong zombie was seen carrying a monster's corpse, with footsteps behind it, looking nine-point similar to a zombie.

"I don't know where the leader and the others went. It's really a big deal. Forget it, let's fill your stomach first."

Seeing that his clothes seemed to be disciples of the Blood Zombie Sect, he didn't seem to notice the box containing stones. The zombie threw the corpse on the ground, tore open his belly with bare hands, and swallowed all the dirty insides. Then he threw the rest to the disciples of the Blood Zombie Sect.

He took out a knife and disposed of the body, lit a pile of fire, and set it on the fire to roast it.

The zombies were standing by the side, and it seemed that they did not notice us. Suddenly, the disciples of the Blood Zombie Sect looked around vigilantly. I thought they had discovered us and almost took action, but I didn't expect that he just glanced around and did not take the next move.

"Go out and watch."

The zombie left, and he was the only one left in the room. I didn't know what he was going to do. He hurriedly lifted up his trouser legs and kept sucking the cold air, revealing a wound on his leg. The wound was shocking and the bones could be seen. The zombie outside screamed when he smelled the bloody smell.

"Look honestly, don't let others in."

I saw him trying to deal with the wound, took out a bottle of white powder and sprinkled it on, making his face pale in pain, and cold sweat fell drop by drop. A rotten smell blew out of the wound, filling the whole room.

I saw that the blood vessels near the wound turned blue and purple and burst, and were spreading continuously. This was a sign of poisoning, but the wound should have been bitten by something, not like cut by a knife.

"ah--"

The huge pain made him unable to use anyone. He raised his knife and cut off one of his legs, but the corruption continued to spread. Finally, the guy rolled all over the ground. Soon he grew sharp fangs, leaned on all fours, and shook his nose like a dog, approaching me.

When he saw me, I happened to see him. His eyes were completely out of human nature, just a monster controlled by wild fury. He thrust up with his teeth and claws, and a fishy and unpleasant gas was sprayed out of his mouth. I kicked it away, and Lao Mo rushed out, pierced his chest with a sword, nailing him to the ground.

He was twitching, and even though it was pierced through his chest, his vitality was still strong.

"It must be infected by the demonic energy."

I picked up the broken limb on the ground, and a piece of flesh was torn off the wound, and the bones could be seen. The flesh near the wound had turned black and purple. And the demonic energy of the stone next to it was gathering towards the wound. I carried the broken limb close to the stone. This was true. I could see with my naked eyes that the broken limb was changing.

Animals will become monsters when affected by demonic energy, but what will people become if affected by demonic energy?

I saw him still struggling, throwing out a ball of dark fire and burning his body to death.

The zombies outside noticed the abnormality and rushed in. A ghost entered the zombie's body. The zombie's eyes emitted a red light and pointed at Lao Mo, "Aren't you the one with the leader? How could you be here?"

"Of course I'll participate in the election of the Lord of the Demon Cult." I said.

"Who are you? And why do you kill me?"

"I am Lao Mo's friend." I said, "If I don't kill you, you will be helpless. It's better to help you relieve your pain."

The disciple of the Blood Zombie Sect lowered his head thoughtfully and asked, "How did you become like this?"

He seemed to be silenced but stopped, and I said, "Sit down and talk."

It turned out that after the Blood Zombie Sect came to Yao Wu Ze, like us, he was confused about the location of the Demon Lord's token. He searched randomly in Yao Wu Ze and encountered several waves of sneak attacks from monsters. Only he was injured in a sneak attack. He felt that the wound was small and he didn't care. But as he walked, the fog rose around, and the injuries on his feet slowed down his pace.
