Chapter 1432 Ruby's unique philosophy

Some great people just exist to change the entire universe, and Ruby has always believed in this idea.

She overlooked the shade of the armored porthole. The white armor plate was illuminated by red and white anti-collision lamps. Several orange figures inlaid with faint white lights were lined up, shaking across the surface of the armor plate, twisting her body hard towards the air gate, as if she was in a vacuum maggot.

She stared at one of the figures, staring at contempt and mockingly.

She knew who that person was, she could pronounce the name of that person, and she even knew the past of her biological parents whom she didn't know. In the past, she believed that Daisy Johnson was the one who could change the universe because the superpower who was a hero on the street was very powerful and could easily shatter buildings and overturn vehicles. Her mother Hale didn't know that Ruby posted Daisy Johnson's poster in the bedroom of the training base - to be precise - was not so-called worship, but observation and hunting. By defeating greater people and absorbing the qualities of that person, this weird philosophical concept originated from the observation records of the Amazon rainforest cannibal tribe she had read, and was later applied to the ideas expressed by Hydra's social Darwinism and General Hale's tough educational philosophy.

Daisy Johnson is her milestone in proving herself.

Later, Ruby discovered that she could breathe, hungry, thirsty, and even had difficulty controlling her emotions. She had no excellence except having special abilities. So she changed her observation target and focused her eyes on the person who took the initiative to find her, but completely contrary to her unique philosophical concept, she did not defeat the emperor and prove her own ideas.

Although that person also has the physiological movements that ordinary people should have, Ruby cannot be sure that it is a real physiological instinct or a disguise made by a body used to place the essence of another world to avoid showing her uniqueness. All emotions are to avoid being noticed by others to be aware of her own characteristics that are different from ordinary people. Once she even suspected that the person had never breathed at all, and even laughing was a muscle movement to mobilize her emotions. Just by looking at those eyes, you could feel an unparalleled sense of oppression.

All behaviors that are revealed to be related to humans are disguise, just to show that one is still human.

Thinking of this, Ruby shivered, and she felt fearful and ignited her yearning again.

A superhuman forced to adapt to humanity demonstrates a much stronger power than anyone in this world. She has seen that person easily change the weather, melt steel, destroy asteroids, modify reality, and cross time and space. When the emotionless, obsidian-like eyes stare at a person, the judgment begins quietly. Even those with firm minds will feel fear and guilt, and become helpless as if the day of judgment in the mythological story has arrived. No one can say no to that person, especially after Ruby learns what the person has done through her mother, General Hale, and through her cooperation with him, Ruby believes that she should be in a place that can play her role more than a cell at the training base, and she can find her place next to a great person, as he promised.

"I want you to participate in the administration of S.H.E.L.D. After my imperial guards evacuated, Agent Colson and his squad needed a cruel reminder to remind them that they were not righteous police but agents, and that they were responsible for their actions." The man sat behind his desk, calming his voice. Ruby held his hands behind his back, and his spine was straightened. "To be precise, I want you to be one of the supervisors of Agents of S.H.H., as my executioner, headed to the lighthouse base to deliver swiftly to Agents of S.H.E.L.D. until they complete their own mission. Your mother, General Hale, will not refuse to let you take on this burden, and even if she objected, I will convince her."

"I don't need her permission, I can do better than others."

Ruby raised her chin and stared at the person behind the desk with slender and sharp eyes.

She tried hard to ignore the golden armored giant standing nearby to avoid exposing the fear that ordinary people should have. She hated this fear and powerlessness, even though she knew it was just the so-called "superhuman syndrome" and an emotion that could be overcome through training. She saw the person behind the desk wearing a non-war dress, and the noble facial features were full of concern and tenderness towards her, which made Ruby feel good. The holster and scabbard on her waist were weapons given to her by the emperor. When the women of the Malik family found her a few days ago, she was still using these three weapons to practice killing techniques. This feeling of using the skills that were about to be trained to make her more comfortable.

"Her desire for protection is too strong." Ruby couldn't help complaining, "maybe it's not desire for protection."

The emperor smiled and looked up at her, "How much do you know about yourself, Ruby?"

“I read that top-secret document for Dr. White Hall’s eugenics program.”

Ruby lowered her eyes.

She knew how much help her birth had provided to General Hale, and she also knew that she might be the mother of Dr. White Hall's next generation of eugenic creation. However, she did not intend to go on the same path as General Hale. As far as she knew, Dr. White Hall had failed and all assets were taken over.

"The fourth generation of Germanic gene adjustment, and the training data shows that I have stronger physical fitness, faster reaction speed and higher intelligence." Ruby talked endlessly and said, and seemed to want to escape something in this way. Her feelings for her mother are very complicated, especially after her brain began to develop. After accidentally learning about her identity, she didn't know whether her mother had feelings for her, or even whether her mother would hate her, the fetus she had to give birth to, so she always showed fearless and arrogant appearance to protect herself.

She was completely unaware of why she could not kill her domesticated pet dog like the Hydra trainees of the same period without hesitation, just like a child who held a toy tightly and refused to let go. She even quarreled with the instructor because the golden retriever was the only creature she was sure to love her and the only thing she had. This is something that would never be allowed in Hydra, even if she was General Hale's daughter. Hydra asked her subordinates to obey absolutely, and the results in the training camp would determine her future development route, and any violations would not be allowed.

Part of the reason why the young General Hale was selected as the parent of the eugenics program was that her grades were extremely excellent at the time. But if it were only excellent, it would not be enough to completely obey Dr. White Hall's eugenics program, because there were many young women with the same physical and intellectual strength in Hydra training camp. What really made her accept Dr. White Hall's program was the incident on the eve of graduation. At that time, the young Hale had a serious physical conflict with the young Baron Strack who graduated at the same time. This was an absolute and punishable violation, but because she was about to graduate and Dr. White Hall's visit, the punishment was temporarily postponed.

Dr. White Hall was very satisfied with the performance of the young Hale in class. At the same time, he also understood the truth of the conflict, so he put forward eugenics suggestions. As a helpless orphan, the young General Hale knew that if he did not accept the eugenics program and rejected the advice of the senior Hydra (referring to Dr. White Hall), he would be suppressed by the radical Hydra family after leaving the training camp, especially the threat from Baron Strack before leaving, and to her, a young Hydra who had no external forces could only work for the old family.

Politics is everywhere, even in the relatively clean Hydra youth training camp.

The argument with the instructor was also the first time Ruby felt the care from her mother. Especially when the instructor asked her to kill the golden retriever dog she had raised since childhood to prove that she would not be dragged down by emotions, General Hale, who learned that the radical Hydra was being wiped out, shot without hesitation and killed the training instructor sent by Dr. White Hall to the base (rather than her nightmare that had been entangled with her, which made Ruby very scared), and completely controlled the entire Hydra training camp.

Ruby wanted to declare loudly that she had no genetic defects, but she could not spit out her anger from her throat in front of the emperor. When she saw those eyes, the guilt instantly surpassed the anger. She began to feel guilty about her almost out of control a few seconds ago and the concern in the emperor's tone. "I don't know, my lord." She grabbed her wrist tightly, her cheeks were red and her cheeks were almost crying. Hammurabi, who was standing behind her, noticed her almost spastic fingers and red skin, "I don't think I'm defective."

"Dr. White Hall has a very deep research on genetics, but he still has a very little understanding of the code of life. Some seemingly useless gene loci expression has never been discovered. Gene adjustments can make you immune to specific diseases and have specific talents, but at the same time it can also make you lose the abilities that some ordinary people should have." After receiving the hint, Hammurabi placed a thick paper report in front of Ruby, and after opening it, there were numbers, words and charts that she could not understand at all. "Your gene is the Hydra super soldier, but compared to Steve Rogers' gene, your DNA telomeres are shorter than others."

She was so shocked by the news that she couldn't speak, her heartbeat hitting her reason like a cannon, because it meant that her life was far shorter than that of ordinary people. For a teenage girl, this news that was no less than hearing her remaining life spanked her. "Is this a deliberate design or an accident?" Ruby sniffed. If she could still feel her numb lips and cold nose, she should have made such a move, "Who doesn't want me to live, White Hall?"

"No one knows this answer now, Ruby. From now on, you have to accept the medical services I provide, check the genetic integrity at all times, and receive gene therapy and cleaning when necessary, just like the surgery performed by rich people around the world in Latovigna to extend their lives." The emperor's voice pulled out her chaotic thoughts, as if some thoughts were intuitively instilled into her brain. She heard the concern in that voice, "You will receive all-round training on the space station before performing tasks, which you cannot accomplish on earth. I look forward to your role, but at the same time I don't want to lose a capable subordinate. I never intend to give up on you, because not everyone in this world has the ability to complete the tasks I gave."

"What kind of training will I...be I have?"

Before the emperor could answer, Hammurabi spoke first.

"All the skills you learn in the camp are just basics. Following the process you should have learned more after entering the position you should have. Now you are missing this process and will face two Inhumans from SHIELD, so I will make your killing skills quickly improve."

The Imperial Guard pointed at himself. Since Ruby entered the office, he looked at her with a harsh eye and evaluated whether she was suitable for the next task. The result was bad. Ruby's waist was too thin, her muscle ratio was too low, and her body fat level was too high. The training data showed that her explosive power was extremely strong but her endurance was not up to standard - perhaps such a figure would attract some men and women who were manipulated by hormones, but for the Imperial Guard, this was not suitable for long special operations, only suitable for execution

The human body of the exquisite raid mission - in fact, Ruby Hale has undergone a comprehensive examination, completely took off her clothes and performed a complete digital scan in the infirmary, and even the blemishes on her skin were clearly recorded and restored. Her body model had long been three-dimensional. Hammurabi used her eyes to evaluate it just to confirm the possible errors in digitalization, because the transformation given by the Emperor to the Guards was enough to allow him to use his eyes and brain to accurately determine whether the digital three-dimensional model was accurate.

The emperor personally wrote Ruby's psychological investigation report. This is an absolutely credible report. Hammurabi has seen the emperor dig out the thoughts and emotions hidden in her subconscious minds that someone did not want to touch. Ruby has undoubtedly been subjected to such "interrogation". Many of the contents of psychological investigation reports are parts that she herself cannot realize.

"I will be responsible for training you, from close combat to shooting techniques, from Void Vehicle Pilot to Jumping Insert, every day after that you will be spent in training, and your daily food and medication intake will be calculated. I will set you much more stringent rules than the training camp until you are polished into a barely adequate tool, you will have no thoughts except the skills I taught you, and you will devote yourself to future services." Hammurabi said. "We will provide you with a small amount of biological transformation to enhance your abilities and make your abilities more than Dr. White Hall's original design. You will have the most basic ability of an assassin, a dagger that can pry the lock and slit the throat at the same time."

This is the plan provided by the Imperial Guards, not the Emperor's own ideas.

In his opinion, Ruby was just a political tool rather than a weapon, a delicate dagger rather than a bomb gun, and it would be enough to cut General Hale's throat at any time. However, he did not object to Hammurabi's opinion. If Ruby could master more skills, she could complete the task better in dealing with emergencies.
