Chapter 308 The Age of the Gods
Alcohol is the best mixer between people, and so is God. After drinking a few bottles of wine, the originally bad atmosphere disappeared suddenly. Given the open concept of ancient Greece, Hecate said something extremely shocking based on his experience and insight. These shocking speeches were not so decent to men, but Athena was amused and giggled, with long golden curly hair jumping mischievously on her shoulders. The whole house was filled with warm light and the aroma of wine, and even the dust was stained with the fragrance of sunlight.
Salomon's performance was much worse. If he hadn't also drunk some rosin and wine, he might have fainted after hearing those words. Athena's temper seemed to have worsened after drinking. She patted Salomon on the head, as if she wanted to correct his shyness. She said this was not the character that a hero should have. Athena began to criticize Salomon, including his little hobbies, paper man and campus beauty idol. She kept poking Salomon with her fingers, almost poking him off the chair.
After scolding him, Athena turned to drink with Hecate again. After drinking a bottle of wine, the two goddesses seemed to want to drink more, so Hecate took out their treasured brandy, which was a fine wine from the Napoleon period. After drinking a whole bottle of wine at a very fast speed, they sang poems from the past:
Like a hyacinth on a mountain,
Being pedaled by the shepherd with his feet,
But purple flowers bloomed on the ground.
Just like the banquet of the gods of Olympus in the old era, Athena was always the most dazzling one. She is the same now, but this time she is not on the clouds and the top of the mountain, and the gods are not surrounded by the gods. Electric lights replaced beeswax candles, organic fruits replaced golden apples, and noisy TVs replaced magic. Even the sun had to work hard to pass through the clouds before it could come to her. She seemed to be missing the age of the gods of Olympus, and the noisy age of the gods.
The drinking and having fun lasts from afternoon to evening.
Salomon pulled out two blankets from the closet and draped them on Athena. She had drunk too much wine, the empty bottles of spirited wine on the ground, and was now sleeping on the table. The Secret Master turned off the TV and walked out. He walked in the pebbled corridor. The black waves were noisy with the salty sea breeze, and the warm wind of the Mediterranean kept churning with the corners of his clothes. The warm yellow lights of the coast rolled along the ridges, like the galaxy flashing in the dark sea water.
What he didn't know was that when he closed the door, Hecate and Athena immediately sat up straight, not at all like they were drunk just now. "He is very cute, and the children you raised in the past are not as gentle as him." Hecate looked jealous, "Do you know he walked out the door on tiptoe? He really treated you as a mother."
"These are the things I worry about the most," Athena was not happy about Hecate's praise for Salomon. "He was too soft, like a person. He might be able to sacrifice himself and kill the enemy, but he could not attack the innocent--maybe he could, but I don't know when that was."
"Why do you have to train your children to be cold-blooded killers, Athena? I always think that there is something wrong with your idea. Being a hero does not mean doing a great thing. A person who is willing to tell bedtime stories to a helpless little girl can be a hero." Hecate said, "There is nothing wrong. I like it. It is the greatest invention of mankind."
"That's someone else, Salomon is different."
"That's right." Hecate poured himself a glass of brandy. She closed her eyes and sniffed, squeezed out wrinkles on her forehead for a few days, and her drowsy head woke up a little. "His essence is great and cruel enough." said the magic goddess, "Do you think he will abandon his life to pursue his essence?"
"I don't know." Athena tightened the blanket she draped over herself, although she was not cold, "maybe, maybe not."
"What kind of thing do you want? Or do you treat him as a person with a sacred mark, or do you treat him as a sacred mark? He is different from the children you taught in the past, and you can't use the methods of the past."
"I don't know. Don't look at me like this, I really don't know." Athena said hesitantly, "abandoning human nature and accepting divinity means becoming a natural law. I don't want him to go on that path, but it's not good if he is the same as God the Father... If necessary, I think he can still make a choice, and the Supreme Master has taught him."
"Tsk, those guardians..." Hecate smacked his lips. Her eyes passed through the wall and saw the secret mage not far away. She saw Salomon picking up the cup in her hand, which was filled with amber wine. Hecate looked at the secret mage and raised the cup, and leaned closer to smell it. Then, he couldn't help but frowned. After a while, Salomon carefully stuck out his tongue and touched the strong wine in the cup.
"Bao, babe!" He smacked his lips and shivered, "Oh my God, how could anyone like to drink this kind of thing?"
"It seems he hasn't learned to enjoy adults yet." Hecate winked at Athena, "When are you going to teach him?"

"It's the weekend now, I thought we were going to eat the tangerine peel duck!" Master Xiao Wang looked at the sneaky secret mage wearing a baseball cap. He touched his stomach dissatisfiedly, "You can only eat once a week, and I just took a fewer meals today. What are you still hesitating about? Or are you following someone? I thought we could have a good rest!"
"Of course we have to eat dried tangerine peel duck, and I have prepared cash intently." Salomon pulled Master Xiao Wang and rubbed over the alley, trying to avoid the camera's capture. But even if he was careful, he still hit a traffic camera head-on and a driving recorder. "Hey, I did this just to avoid being caught by some artificial intelligence." Salomon rolled his eyes at the traffic camera, "Hey, don't bother me, have you heard?"
The camera's signal indicator light flashed, and then it turned left and right.
"Why do you want to talk to a camera?" Master Xiao Wang asked in confusion. His qualifications were not enough to attend the meeting of the Temple Deacons. He knew nothing about the artificial intelligence created by Mr. Finch. Salomon promised him to explain it carefully when eating. Now he has endured a week of British cuisine and endless exercises, and urgently needed the comfort of delicious food.
Suddenly, Salomon's newly bought mobile phone vibrated twice. He took out his mobile phone and told him some information in a text message.
"What's wrong?" Master Xiao Wang curiously probed Salomon's phone.
"Nothing." Salomon hesitated for a moment and showed the text message to Master Xiao Wang. "Some people have the same destination as us. If we go there now, we are likely to meet them."
"Is it a wizard group? There are not many spellcasters here in Hong Kong, there are more in Qingcheng Mountain, and there are only some fortune tellers here."
"There is a Mai God in that store, and the AI gave me the message... Well, that fortune teller is an irrelevant variable. A team of agents from SHIELD placed an order there, and they had a lot of people. If we don't want those things to be sold out, we have to speed up." Salomon looked at the traffic camera, "This method cannot win my trust, do you understand?"
